Common Questions
What paper size should I use?
Label Resizer is designed for standard 11"x8.5" (letter size) paper in landscape orientation. Make sure your printer is set to landscape mode when printing.
How do I use the Action Extension?
When you receive a shipping label PDF in Mail, Files, or another app, tap the share button and select "Label Resizer" from the actions list. The app will process your label and allow you to print it immediately.
What label sizes are supported?
Label Resizer works with any PDF shipping label, including common sizes like 4"x6" USPS labels. The app automatically detects and scales labels while maintaining their aspect ratio.
Can I print multiple labels at once?
Yes! If your PDF contains multiple pages, Label Resizer will arrange them efficiently on the output sheets, placing two labels per page in a left-right pattern.
My printer isn't showing up
Label Resizer uses AirPrint for printing. Make sure your printer is AirPrint-compatible and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone. Restart both devices if needed.
What iOS version is required?
Label Resizer requires iOS 18 or later.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Labels appear cut off: Ensure your printer is set to landscape orientation and has no margins or "fit to page" settings enabled
- Labels are too small/large: The app maintains the original aspect ratio. If you need different sizing, check your printer's scaling options
- PDF won't load: Make sure the file is a valid PDF. Try opening it in another app first to verify
- Action Extension not appearing: Make sure Label Resizer is installed and try restarting your iPhone
