Label Resizer is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Label Resizer is designed with privacy as a core principle. We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

  • Your Documents: All PDF processing happens locally on your device. We never upload, store, or transmit your shipping labels or any PDF content.
  • Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifying information.
  • Location Data: We do not access or collect your location.
  • Device Identifiers: We do not collect persistent identifiable information about your device that could be linked back to you personally.

How Label Resizer Works

Label Resizer processes PDFs entirely on your iPhone:

  • When you select a PDF, it is read and processed using your device's local computing power
  • The app creates a new optimized PDF for printing, stored temporarily in your device's memory
  • When you print using AirPrint, the PDF is sent directly from your device to your printer
  • No data leaves your device except when you explicitly choose to print

Use of TelemetryDeck to Analyze App Usage

The service uses privacy-focused analytics from TelemetryDeck (TelemetryDeck GmbH, Von-der-Tann-Str. 54, 86159 Augsburg, Germany) to examine usage patterns. This processing falls under GDPR Article 6(1)(b), as dependable analytics tools support customer contract fulfillment.

Data Transferred:

All information processed is fully anonymized with no connection to personal identifiers. Collection includes:

  • Anonymized user ID per installation
  • Publisher-defined actions (e.g., "app launched")
  • Rounded timestamps (hourly precision)
  • Device information (system/app version, device type)
  • Publisher-defined metadata

Data Not Collected:

  • IP addresses
  • Cookies or tracking technology
  • Persistent identifiable information

Third-Party Services

Label Resizer uses the following third-party services:

  • Apple AirPrint: When you choose to print, the app uses Apple's AirPrint framework to send the PDF directly to your printer. This communication is handled by iOS and your local network.
  • TelemetryDeck Analytics: As described above, we use privacy-focused analytics to understand app usage patterns without collecting personal information.

Data Security

Since all PDF processing happens on your device and we do not collect or store your documents, your data remains under your control at all times. The app uses iOS's built-in security features to protect data while it's being processed.

Children's Privacy

Label Resizer does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app is designed for general use and does not target children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
